Vida Scholarship Committee Information Vida gives scholarships ranging from NP$500 (approx. $50 USD) to NP$1,000 (approx. $100 USD) every year to school children to help their families cover costs of books, uniforms and other miscellaneous expenses for students in college, high school, and primary school. The Scholarship fund was originally designed to provide such scholarships for the children of the employees of Vida. In years when there were sufficient funds, such scholarships have been extended to private maids service Vida residents, and occasionally other families in the El Naranjo community. Vida owners are asked to contribute a few pesos every quarter with their quarterly dues. The amount is shown on your quarterly statement, but the amount is a voluntary contribution and you are not required to contribute if you choose not to. A Committee of Vida owners, along with the General Manager, oversees the disbursement of the Scholarship Fund.
